Itemize Expense App Reviews

They have a nice user interface and it seems pretty intuitive to me. This will be a great product but they need to eliminate some more bugs first. App crashed on my iPhone. Changing display settings doesnt work consistently. Interpreting receipts is pretty strong given the poor quality of some printed receipts. I would also like a way to split, prorate or otherwise itemize a receipt? I like the app but it wont be worth a subscription until some bugs are cleaned up imho.

Hi, Im just starting learn this app. People, these days, dont listen! They think they are, but their not. They can be rude, condescending and impatient, not knowing why the person on the other end of the phone, is having problem with understanding, Ive been really sick. I find I have to explain my sickness and thats okay. The type of sickness I have affects, the way I decipher things. Jason, your customer representative at itemize, has been kind enough to take the time to explain a few things. Jasons has been very patient with me. He listens and takes the time to explain back to me in great detail, exactly the questions, I just asked. He has a gift, to simplify and was great with me. So thanks, Jason for your help, Jason. This app helps store and organize your receipts. It is intuitive about the category of the receipt as a general rule. Will be definitely helpful in the assessment of your expenses as well as the formulation of a budget.

I love the app but for over a week now it will not open for me. What do I do? Does anyone have any suggestions? I dont want to uninstall because I dont want to lose everything. I paid to upgrade it too. Help!

I usually spend many hours at the end of the year entering receipts. This app made it so much faster!

Best app ever , very helpful and precise.

I use Yahoo for my email and when I tried to pick an email it wasnt among the main choices, and when I touched "other" it was not among the ones presented there either; thus, the app is useless to me!

The app was not the solution to my problem. But I had signed up for the basic plan. Now I cant get them to stop charging my card. Its been impossible to find a person to talk with and no where on the app can I find a way to stop the charges. Change plan only allows you to go to the next level up. Not cancel. Makes me think its a rip off

This app really help me in tracking down all recipe and mainly the dates on which transaction happen. It makes me free from handling physical receipt. Really great app for daily use. Thanks for awesome idea.

I hate to budget and to track my spending. This makes it easy and simple with the scan receipt feature. Gone are my envelopes full of receipts! And, I love how it automatically imports emailed receipts and invoices!!!

The basic idea and technology for sure add value and this could be a 5 star very soon for me. I had to upgrade to try the quick books integration. It grabs the transactions but still requires you to go in and change the categorization and over type the payee hence manual over ride Its almost there, and if I am not using it correctly there lies another problem..... No online user video guides My reports dont look like the ones in the sales video Has potential but feels very early stage in a lot of its support infrastructure. $8 99 a month taken as a lump sum is steep considering cost of Quickbooks etc but if they can resolve my issues it may be worth it, if not I asked if I can cancel and get refund only hours after signing up. Lets see how they handle my help requests

This app is awesome wish I would have had it years ago

This would be a great app and deserving of 5 stars if I didnt have to edit almost every receipt. I can snap a photo of my receipts, and it almost always gets the information wrong.

Ive tried a few, this one is the best because of accurate, almost instant data capture, and really simple to use. Being able to email a receipt is handy but the merchant is never correct and you cant edit that. They have an email linking feature but it doesnt work with yahoo so wont work for me. I still prefer it to others Ive tried.

Excellent app easy to use and easy to keep track on expenses

This app is the EASIEST way for me to keep track of my business expenses! I really appreciate the various ways of coding the expense, which trip it was for, adding extra notes...this is well thought out and will make tax season WAY LESS stressful next year!

This is the application that I have been looking for! I cannot throw out my receipts that have been stocking up in my wallet! Slightly pricey monthly fee, dont get me wrong $4.99 is not bad but adds up, I would totally subscribe for $2.99. But if you have it, like I said this app is a great app. Just take a snapshot of your receipt and all your information is there

I kept my receipts in well organized files but found they began to fade quickly. I looked online for a fix and saw people now a days using apps. This one had little reviews but they where positive and I could capture a photo of my receipts. The first one I did was for Home Depot and it captured all the info I needed. But some receipts where faded and it didnt capture accurate info, but what I liked is I could easily correct that info and even code it or add notes. After very few receipts I added I had to pay, which I felt was worth it, it wasnt much and I had a lot to organize. One thing I would update is making it easier to exit to the main menu after making a change, but if you select all the highlighted fields it will eventually allow you to save it. Overall this app benefits me much more then how I used to just save receipts. I would recommend this app!!

At first it worked fine, now after buying the full service , all it does is crash, I contact customer service and being ignored.
